Professor Ayşe Gürel Invited as a Plenary Speaker at GASLA 18 at the University of Cambridge
Professor Ayşe Gürel was invited as a plenary speaker at the 18th Generative Approaches to Second Language Acquisition Conference (GASLA 18), which was held at the University of Cambridge in April 2026. GASLA is one of the leading international conferences in the field of second language acquisition research. Professor Gürel delivered a plenary talk titled “What can agglutinative morphology tell us about inflectional variability in the L2: Evidence from Turkish.” The talk explored how Turkish morphology can contribute to current debates on variability in L2 acquisition of inflectional morphology.
